Artem Streltsov

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Before joining UB, I obtained my PhD in Finance with a minor in Computer Science at the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.

 

I am also a fellow at FinTech@Cornell, a member of the Digital Economics and Financial Technology (DEFT) Lab and the Initiative for CryptoCurrencies and Contracts (IC3).

 

My research focuses on FinTech including both applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in finance and the economics of cryptocurrency and DeFi. I am also broadly interested in issues in corporate finance and market microstructure.

I am extremely lucky to have been advised in my PhD studies by Lin William Cong, Murillo Campello, Maureen O'Hara and Thorsten Joachims.
